From poolside bars alive with cool ocean breezes and hot local music to lively happy hours to stylish lounges serving up smooth jazz and smoother designer cocktails, the nightlife at Ko Olina Resort has something for everyone. Learn about Ko Olina bars below:
One of the best restaurants in the entire resort complex is also one of our best bar picks. Merriman’s Monkeypod Kitchen features his signature island-themed dishes sourced with the freshest local ingredients, meats, and seafood available. Choose from spacious open-air patio seating overlooking the lush fairways of the golf course or belly up to the impressive teak bar, home to a stylish waterfall and, more importantly, plenty of local “faucets” including Aloha Brewing, Big Island Brewhaus, Kona, Maui Brewing, and many more. Live music on the lanai happens every night, and there are two happy hours daily, from 3 to 5:30pm and 9 to 11pm. Enjoy discounts on local beers, wine, cocktails, and their delicious appetizers and flatbread pizzas. The happy hour is one of the best values around, and this is one of the best bars on the leeward side.
Drinks by the Pool
Waterman’s at the Four Seasons Resort is a cute and laidback bar overlooking the scenic grounds of the resort’s stylish pool. Enjoy ice cold cocktails while you lounge on cabanas by the pool or make new friends around the hardwood bar surrounded by tropical flowers and the exotic scents of plumeria, jasmine, and soft ocean breezes. More of a day time hot spot, the vibe here is very casual (though the prices reflect the high-end hotel) and the staff are incredible friendly. Over at the Aulani Disney Resort, the pool-side retreat Off The Hook is a great spot for delicious bar food, cold beers, and live sports. Try the Mango Mojito or the Crushed Pineapple Mule for a refreshing take on an island cocktail that is perfectly suited to kicking your feet up or dipping them into the pool.
