Wet’n’Wild Water Park

While nothing beats the sheer beauty of pristine beaches and the inviting waters of the Pacific Ocean, the thrills of Wet’n’Wild Hawai‘i might come close to matching it in excitement. Just minutes from your lodgings at Beach Villas Hawai‘i, this waterpark features 25 rides and attractions and is a surefire way to put a smile on everyone’s face. Recently voted as the “Best Family Attraction” on O‘ahu, the park has adventure for all, from the thrill seeker to the beach bum.

A Thrill a Minute at Wet’n’Wild Water Park

If you crave excitement, Wet’n’Wild Water Park caters to adrenaline junkies. Tackle your fears and ride the adrenaline rush as you practically freefall down the steep U-shaped slide of the Shaka into the waiting pool below. You’ll hit 30 mph and experience near-zero-gravity as you careen back and forth. Then, race your friends on the Volcano Express and its 4-lane speedway.

Once that is checked off your list, master the see-sawing pendulum of thrills on the Tornado as it slingshots your 4-person inflatable raft around and around in a frenzied storm of water, excitement, and joyful screams. Try to take in the panoramic views of Ko Olina and the coast – but good luck! If you maintain your balance, head over to Da’ Flowrider, the park’s own surf attraction featuring a continuous 40-foot wave. Hang ten, if you can!

Lazy Days are No Less Fun

If you’ve had your fill of the extreme rides, the park offers the Kapolei Kooler, an 800-foot lazy river that winds past waterfalls, caves, and tropical jungle scenery. Watch out for logjams, the occasional rapids, and other fun surprises. Kids will love the Water World Kids Playground, the Keiki Kove and its fountains, small slides, and water cannons, and the traditional water slides at Surf Sliders.

A notch above for those who like their excitement in easy-to-conquer form, moderate thrill seekers should try the O-Hāna Highway white water rafting experience. Afterwards, venture into the 400,000 gallon Hawaiian Waters Wave Pool. Here you can lounge on the shore or tackle the waves and tube or body surf the 2-foot swells as they roll past. Boasting several other medium-intensity slides and rides as well as VIP Cabanas, lounge areas, and food and beverage options, the park truly has something for everyone.
